She became professional and has never looked back since. The album she released next, 'Teenage Dreams' won the hearts of millions of music enthusiasts and went on to become one of the bestselling albums of all time. It was the source of many records and cemented her place as an established musician. Perry, who is known not just for writing songs and recording them but as well for her charity work, has a wide range of interests. Additionally, she is an activist, who is a proponent of the rights of gays.
