Simone Biles

Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in Ohio, Columbus. She is considered by many to be among the top athletes. Biles was the first gymnast from the United States ever to win four gold medals in the same Games. At Rio de Janeiro, she was also the first female to have won successive World All-Around championships. Biles is from Spring Texas. Her grandparents Ronald Biles (and her sister Adria) adopted them. They were raised in the metropolitan areas of Houston. Simone was interested in the sport of gymnastics as a young girl in a day-care field excursion at Bannon's Gymnastix and remained there for 11 years under supervision of trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles won the vault and floor exercises at the 2009 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships before becoming an top competition levels in the year the year 2011. The following year Biles had a dominating performance in the sport.
